According to Irrigation Authorities, gushing floodwater, getting unleashed through 8 breaches at protective embankments, is fast raging towards three tehsils of Sehwan Sharif Talti, Bobak, Chana and Indus Highway, Sehwan Airport and Parco Refinery.
Fifty special trains have been run to move people to safe places. Meanwhile, on seeing the breach in Manchar Lake, irrigation officials who were working to plug it, ran away from the site.
EDO Revenue Jamshoro Sohail Adeeb that private staff left the place on seeing the widening breach; however, he added that efforts are on to bring them back.
