She said that while addressing at a press conference here on Wednesday, and adding that “I never seen that type of flood in my life”, its huge disaster. Angelina said millions of people have displaced in this recent flood and has appealed to the international community to support and rehabilitate the flood victims. Millions of Afghan refugees are living in Pakistan and government of Pakistan and UNHCR are supporting them,it is a unique example of generosity, she said.
Julie said that during her visit she meet those women who had lost their husbands and seen those children who have no shelter of their parents. “It’s clear this crisis is far from over, “ she said. “People have lost everything, their homes, their belongings, their crops and cattle, and their livelihoods. Long after the cameras have gone, people will be struggling to rebuild their lives.”
