Sindh’s old cities Bakhtiar and Arazi have also been deluged due to the cracks in Manchar Lake at RD 95-97. Some 30,000 people were stranded with 150 villages and hundreds of acres agricultural land submerged. A cut has been made between RD 8-13 at Aral Wah to divert the water into River Indus.
Staff of the Parco pumping station has been shifted to Sehwan while only four watchmen are present over their for security purposes.
