After six years of bringing the World of Musical Video Games to The Living Rooms of Average Joes and Janes, Guitar Hero was formally axed by its publishers on Wednesday. Activision Blizzard — which also created World Of Warcraft, Call Of Dut — is halting production on the popular music game, along with approximately 500 people from it’s global workforce of 7,000.
