As of midnight ET on Tuesday night, Moss is still in New England. Old “smoke / fire” idiom probably true here. There’s too much going on for these rumors is completely false, but that does not necessarily mean that Moss should begin to dig a purple bandana out of his closet just yet.
Discussion of what the potential trade means for the Vikings and the Patriots may wait until later. Now let’s look at the origin of the rumors:
