The plot of the film revolves around the life of a Pakistani “George Khan”, who is played by the Indian star Om Puri.
George Khan married a British girl Elea in 1937 and fathered seven children from her. His training for his children was in essence Pakistani, but he never took his children to Pakistan. The twist in the story occurs when he takes his youngest child Sajid to Punjab (Pakistan).
