News Up Date About Opening ceremony of cwg 2010: The opening ceremony of the 2010 Commonwealth Games has started at at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, the main stadium, in Delhi. The Games are scheduled to be held in New Delhi, India between 3 October and 14 October 2010.

Prince Charles, Prince of Wales and President of India Pratibha Patil will officially declare the Games open. Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will be present at the grand opening ceremony of Commonwealth Games 2010.
