News Up Date About:Indian extremist group Shiv Sena has vehemently opposed the participation of Pakistani artists, Vina Malik and Ali Saleem, in the fourth season of popular reality show Bigg Boss, and threatened to stall its run.
The much-awaited show kicked off with Bollywood superstar and host Salman Khan unveiling all the 14 contestants, including Veena Malik and Begum Nawazish Ali, a cross dresser who hosts a famous chat show on a Pakistani channel.
Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut said the party won’t allow the show to run with the Pakistani participants. Sanjay said, “Great singers like Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle were never allowed in Pakistan then why do we need Pakistani people on the show.”
“If Pakistanis are participating in the show, then allow Ajmal Kasab and Afzal Guru also (as contestants)… Sena will not permit to run the show,” he said.
