John Utendahl is one of the many successful African Americans on Wall Street. Utendahl was born in the borough of Queens in New York. Mr. Utendahl received a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus, and acquired an MBA from Columbia University. In 2007 it was reported that he had met to talk show host and former supermodel Tyra Banks. In August 2009, Tyra Banks was seen sporting a gold ring after lunch date with Utendahl. Participation rumors flared up after that, but nothing has been confirmed.
