In what was billed as a tough road marathon in the world, 26.2 km at high altitude, which went up and up, and then some more, hundreds of runners huffed and puffed up for one of the highest peaks in Tucson.
They did it for bragging rights, a challenge for health benefits, for the pure absurdity of it all.
