Latest News Up Date About:Cheyenne Woods, a sophomore at Wake Forest, grabbed her first college victory Sunday at the Bryan National Collegiate, becoming the first Demon Deacon to claim an individual title this season.
Woods, whose grandfather was Earl Woods (Tiger’s late father) and is the daughter of Tiger’s half-brother, shot 5-under 211 at the Bryan Park Players Course in Brown Summit, N.C., to beat Tennessee sophomore Nathalie Mansson by two shots.

Woods’ score is the second-lowest 54-hole score in Wake Forest history. Her second-round 3-under 69 tied the lowest 18-hole score of her career.
“This feels really good,” Woods told Golfweek. “It feels like a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I’ve been in contention a bunch this season so it just feels good to finally play that third good round in a row and pull out a win.”
