On a whole flood and rain has caused devastation in Azad Kashmir worth more than 3.5 billion rupees. The main damage has been caused to basic infrastructure of the state; however the reports claim that 20 connecting bridges and almost 300 roads have been destroyed. Dozens of houses in a settlement known as Baila Makri, surrounding Muzaffarabad have been destroyed. The affected locals of the area have demanded from the government to move them to better and safer places rather that providing relief to them.
