ENTERTAINMENT NEWS:Bolivian fashion designer Beatriz Canedo Patino unveiled on Tuesday night her latest creations spun from the rare vicuna wool, the world's most expensive yarn.
The prized yarn, which once knitted sells for at least $3,000 dollars a yard, is made from vicuna fleece, a relation of the alpaca which roams plateaus along the Peruvian and Bolivian border. Patino's ponchos, pants and pea coats are also sold in a store she opened in New York back in 1987.
