Latest Pakistan News Up Date About Altaf’s statement:MQM senior leader Babar Ghori has said that MQM is a democratic party and it never endorsed martial law. Talking to media in Islamabad on Thursday, Babar wondered that why Nawaz Sharif got angry over Altaf Hussain’s statement that, he added has been misperceived. He said his party leader ‘always upheld democracy in the country’.
He alleged Nawaz Sharif struck a deal with a dictator (Gen Musharraf) to avoid conviction.

Bilour files adjournment motion against MQM
Meanwhile, senior provincial minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bashir Bilour submitted an adjournment motion in the provincial assembly against Altaf Hussain’s remarks in which he urged the army generals to take martial-law like action against the politicians. Bilour said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement always enjoyed the support of army dictators, and added that Zia-ul-Haq strengthened MQM during his regime.
