In a statement issued by Apex Court, Chief Justices of all four High Courts wrote letter to Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of the situation to prevent a Judicial-Crisis. Acting accordingly the Chief Justice of Pakistan directed full bench to hear the case.
32 additional judges from the four High Courts are about to retire in the coming month. But the new method of judges appointment defined in the 18th amendment has been challenged in the Apex Court, that’s why foreseeing a major Judicial-Crisis, the matter has been raised.
