The entire event, organized by the Raj Palace Hotel, was conceptualized like any Hindu wedding, with wedding processions following the couples, who rode on 11 ornately decorated elephants.
“Basically, 11 Spanish couples wanted to tie the knot here according to the Indian style of wedding. They contacted us and we have arranged this wedding for them.
So, it’s basically a mock wedding. They are already married and they are remarrying here,” said Ankur Rara, the wedding organizer.
For the Spanish couples, the experience was an exciting one.
