Latest Pakistan News Up Date About Peshawar Security forces:Army has launched an operation and sealed the Cantt Road in wake of attack by some terrorists at an office of security forces in Peshawar near US Consulate on Saturday.
As per reports, a group of terrorists launched an attack on security forces at 6am today and made hostage some of the security personnel present inside the building.The area where the incident occurred is located near the American Consulate, but police said that building was not the target of the attack. Firing began Saturday morning while the troops besieged the building taken over by some unidentified felons and were repulsing the attack.
Army choppers are also carrying out aerial view of the area while search operation is also underway. Elite Force jawans reached the Cantonment area and took charge of the situation.
