WORLD NEWS UPDATES:US President Barack Obama and his family headed to Panama City Beach in Florida for a family vacation.
The Obama family spent a weekend holidaying in the Gulf of Mexico. Mr Obama and his wife Michelle and oldest daughter Sasha were staying in Panama City Beach in a bid to encourage more Americans to take their holidays in the disaster struck region.
